This was originally a blog post on our website.

We are synonymous with Delve Deeper.

That game, which we released in September 2010 introduced players to our take on the incredibly lucrative dwarves-in-tunnels genre. It’s been critically well-received and we’ve developed a loyal fan base around it. While we certainly don’t own the patent on dwarf games, Delve Deeper is what we are known for.

If you haven’t played it, it’s a turn-based adventure/strategy game where you build tunnels on rotating hex tiles, collect treasure, fight monsters, and try to trap and otherwise foil your opponents’ plans to do some sweet, sweet looting.

That being said, there has been some confusion regarding our game and an upcoming title from fellow indie Tinkerhouse Games: Dwarven Delve. It’s a game that “challenges you to race through a dungeon layout that you’re constantly changing on the fly. And when that layout changes, the way monsters and traps behave change with it.”

Dwarven Delve:

Understandably, people have been asking us whether we’re involved or if it is in fact Delve Deeper 2. The answer to both these questions is no, and we felt it was not only appropriate but necessary to let you guys know that publicly. There have been questions popping up on Dwarven Delve’s Steam page, about what our involvement is, and, again, the answer is none.

Believe us, when we have another game or sequel coming — you guys will know and you will hear it from us firsthand.

But given that Dwarven Delve has just launched its second Kickstarter, we wanted to use this as an opportunity to clarify from our end. We also wanted to use this as an opportunity to let it be known we are aware of this confusion, and from our conversations with them, it seems unlikely that Tinkerhouse will move to rectify it by changing its game’s name as we’ve requested.

So, again, for the record: We have no involvement with Dwarven Delve.

Hey folks! We're happy to announce a Steam publishing deal we've just finalized with Chicago-based dev team The Amiable for their forthcoming game Tetrapulse. It will be released March 2014.

Tetrapulse is a two- to four-player, single-screen co-op game where players battle invading robo-bugs using the only ammunition they have left: their life-force. Every shot drains health as players work together to protect the Heartstone, an ancient battery that recharges players. To succeed players must work together to move the Heartstone, outsmart enemies, and protect their teammates.

They’re currently doing a Kickstarter to raise funds to finish development. Check it out on Kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/575525637/tetrapulse. The campaign ends Sept. 24.

Additional details and screenshots are available at http://www.tetrapulse.com/.
