CTS Update v1.1.3 is here – with Fixes, Features & Improvements

Today’s update brings several bug fixes and features we’ve already talked about – many of them based directly on your feedback.

Some of the key changes include fixing crashes during game startup (e.g. caused by remapped keys), various reported issues with traffic lights and AI behavior, and the incorrect tram reset in Eglundsdorf.

In addition to those fixes, we’ve added a few highly requested features:

  • You can now adjust the Field of View (FOV)
  • Steering speed and return-to-center speed are now individually configurable – for mouse & keyboard, gamepad/controller, and even steering wheels

This gives you much more control over your gameplay experience!

We’ve also reworked the MAN Lion’s City 3D model with great attention to detail. Thanks to your feedback, both the cockpit and passenger area are now much more realistic and accurate.

🔄 What’s next?

Of course, we’re continuing to improve the game with your help. We're currently working on:
  • A new mouse steering mode
  • Improvements to trams, especially the Flexity and R2.2b models
  • Better AI behavior: We’re aware that cars sometimes ignore red lights or right-of-way rules – this is a top priority for upcoming updates

  • Added floor hatches under rear seats
  • Corrected dashboard font
  • Added heating strips on cockpit window
  • Relocated stop request buttons
  • Door mechanism now centered
  • Added interior ridge between windows and roof
  • Adjusted button and light colors/intensity to keep icons visible
  • Cockpit A-pillar now has correct color
  • Added groove on left mirror
  • Removed black area under window in cockpit

Note:
Due to the changes in control settings, your custom keybindings may have been reset.
This was necessary to fix the crash when starting the game.
You can reconfigure them as usual – after saving once, your settings will be retained again.

  • Click anywhere in-game to lock (hide) the cursor; press Esc to unlock (show) it.

  • Sprint only while holding Shift—no more toggle.

  • Accept mission calls with Enter or Space in addition to the on-screen prompt.

UI & HUD
  • Player-arrow icon in the mini-map reduced by ~50 %.

  • Big mini-map auto-hides when a mission call appears.

  • Health bar added behind the player car; AI cars now have health bars too (fade green → black as they take damage).

  • Enemy-score panel realigned with the game screen.

  • Removed old AI-car role icons (Thief, Drunk, Stolen); all AI-car mini-map icons are now red.

  • Mini-map arrow sizes (big & small) reset correctly after calls.

  • Default game icon updated.

Vehicles
  • Stronger brakes for every player car.

  • Brake lights now work even on Low graphics settings.

  • Alpha Patrol: mass increased, handling tweaked, faster pickup.

  • Bravo Sentinel and Cobalt Enforcer: handling balanced.

  • All shop car prices re-tuned for current balance.

  • Player car auto-resets if it gets stuck.

  • Gear-shift sound volume lowered to 0.5.

Combat & Enemies
  • Assault-rifle bullet damage reduced.

  • Shotgun hand pose corrected when firing.

  • Enemy overlap bug fixed—no more stacking when 5–6 foes rush you.

  • Enemy “sliding” in some FPS missions fixed; they now walk/run normally.

Mission-Specific Tweaks
  • All FPS missions

    • +1 minute added to the timer.

    • Player car now spawns outside each rescue-target building.

  • Stay Away From AI Car

    • 13 extra AI cars added.

    • Safe-zone position moved.

    • AI-car paths realigned with the road.

  • Chasing missions: AI target car despawns instantly after you press Continue on success.

  • President Escort: three additional escort vehicles placed along the route.

NPC & Animation Fixes
  • Airport-exterior NPC now sits in a fear pose until rescued, then stands normally.

  • Rescued NPCs stand normally instead of freezing in rescue pose after mission completion.

Difficulty & Balance
  • Enemy count increased—roughly 15–25 hostiles per mission.

  • AI-car health values adjusted to match the new health-bar system.

  • “Two Hits” achievement condition updated to reflect balance changes.

Quality of Life
  • Removed “Press E to grab object” text when interacting with health packs.

  • Player starting car positions refined in every mission to avoid awkward spawns.
