  1. Fixed an issue where Hero Pool Expansion Training would only offer fixed items in certain specific situations.

  1. Fixed an issue with the special effect of hero card \[Mandala Flower].

  2. Fixed an abnormal number of heroes in some AI team hero pools.

  3. Fixed an issue in Rogue mode where adjusting the version transition speed did not increase the number of ban slots as expected.

  4. Fixed an issue where AI would ban heroes from the hero pool of players who had already selected those heroes.

  5. Fixed some localization text issues.

 

Gameplay Adjustments And Optimizations

 

  1. In Rogue mode, before the final match of each stage, if the player has not used their loss protection, they can choose to skip the match.

 

Issues to Be Fixed And Pending Optimizations

 

  1. Multiple hero skills that increase levels did not level up correctly when activated simultaneously.

  2. In battle, \[kid] could revive abnormally due to passive healing if dying at the same time as other units.

Notable Changes:
  • New low-gravity Marshmallow Challenges.
  • 2 new Hats added into the mix.
  • More tweaks to ease the suffering in Challenge Mode:
    - Streak requirements for earning hearts have been lowered
    - Several extremely difficult challenge sets have been replaced
    - The time granted for each stage now takes the types of modifiers into account properly
    - Any changes to the stage now show up during the intro animation before game play begins
  • Initial loading is significantly faster, and should no longer freeze the UI for most machines
  • The game should now show the correct name and icon in the Windows Volume Mixer

Good News!!
We have some new music!

I would like to thank Yellow Cherry Jam for allowing us to use some of their songs within the game.
We came across them one day on YouTube and fell in love with their music. It's lovely to hear and see some non-AI generated tunes. Make sure you check them out on YouTube & Bandcamp. Also, they have a very beautiful puppy that you can watch while you listen and watch them make music.

Langit Lupa, Twenty Juan, Labo Labo, Ice Ice Tubig, Agawan Base, Pasabog, Capture the Flag, Balik Bayan, and CLAYGO

  • Added functionality to hide the mouse cursor during gameplay.

  • Added grey smoke VFX when picking up items.

  • Added a search bar to the lobby list.

  • When items are thrown and hit the walls or floor, they will crack, and there’s a chance they might also be destroyed.

  • Thrown items will crack upon impact with walls or the floor, and there is a probability that they may be destroyed.

  • Added small dust VFX when players run on the floor. No dust trail while jumping.

  • The arcade machine shakes whenever a player joins the game.

  • Added small help text and a crying face emoji above prisoners.

  • Added crack effects when passing the bomb.

  • Added player sound effects using developer voices.

[ANOMALY TAPES]: Beyond Reality - Caydeian

Hey everyone,

Just a quick follow-up to my last post \[ANOMALY TAPES]: Beyond Reality is now officially Free to Play.

As I mentioned earlier, this change was made because I unfortunately lost access to the project files, which means I’m no longer able to update or patch the game. Given that, I didn’t feel comfortable continuing to charge for something I can’t support properly.

I want to say again how much I appreciate all the love and support this game has received. This was the first game I ever published, putting it out there was a huge step for me, and seeing people play it, talk about it, and even recommend it has meant more than I can explain. It’s given me the motivation to keep creating.

I also want to respond to a comment from the previous announcement. Someone mentioned that they felt the game was still worth charging for, even if the price was lowered instead of going free. Not only did you say that without any frustration, but you said it because of the game’s quality. That really meant a lot to me, and it reminded me that this is something I should be proud of.

That said, once a game is set to Free to Play on Steam, that change is permanent — so I won’t be able to adjust the price back, even if I wanted to.

If you’re looking for more context, the previous announcement goes into more detail. This post was just to confirm the change and to thank you all again for supporting the project.

Esports Godfather - moto

Hello coaches, this is moto from Asteroid Studio.

 

The testing phase for Esports Godfather has been underway for some time. During this period, we've received extensive feedback. Many of you may have already noticed our fixes and adjustments in recent minor patches.

 

Regarding testing, we currently plan to rotate the beta content next Wednesday (August 13, 2025).

 

This test rotation includes:

- Mode Rotation:League of Tactical Elite

- Hero Rotation: Leon

 

Note: The Conqueror Series (rogue mode), Chen Fengcheng, and Anna will be temporarily disabled.

 

 Regarding Crashes and Error Reports

We’ve tracked crashes and error reports encountered by coaches. Some errors have been fixed, and patches will be deployed during the game’s next official update.

 

Other crash issues have also been investigated. Some are caused by individual system environments. If you experience crashes or errors, please check the following first. If problems persist, contact us for assistance.

 

1. Antivirus and Scanning Software

   Certain antivirus or disk-scanning tools may interfere with Esports Godfather’s configuration files. Try disabling such software while running the game.

   Note: 80% of reported crashes/errors stem from this issue.

 

2. Mod-Related Issues

   If crashes persist after disabling antivirus software—especially during battles—subscribed Mods are likely the cause. Unsubscribe from Mods before playing.

   While we strive to support Mod developers, the open-ended nature of Mods makes universal compatibility challenging. If a Mod causes issues, unsubscribe and wait for its developer to release updates.

 

3. CPU-Related Problems

   Some crashes/errors are linked to "C0000005" memory/CPU issues, related to recent Intel CPU incidents. Reducing all P-core frequencies by 0.3GHz should stabilize gameplay.

the equipment is activated, spawn 1 Eternal Brand into the draw pile.

 

-When you attack an enemy Hero with Eternal Brand and deal damage,apply 1 stack of Eternal Brand to the target.

 

-Prioritize attacking enemy Heroes with Eternal Brand.

-When you attack an enemy Hero with Eternal Brand and deal damage,apply 2 stacks of Eternal Brand to thetarget.

-When the execution effect of Eternal Brand is triggered, immediately perform a attack.

 

NightmareSlayer

Fight.

This Fight prohibits any "participating fights" effects from heroes or summons.

If the target hero is killed in this fight, the Eternal Brand of that hero is reduced by half of its stacks.

Mad Whisper

The cost of this card is equal to the number of Heroes on the field with Eternal Brand. All enemy Heroes with Eternal Brand attack a random Hero within 1 hex (regardless of friend or foe).

If Leon is hit by this attack, search for Nightmare Slayer.

 

Terrifying Swing

Attack all enemy Heroes within 2 hexs. Ifthere is only one target Hero, attack it 2 times instead. When hitting with this card, if the target hasEternal Brand, apply an additional 4 stacks of Eternal Brand to the target.

 

Eternal Brand

Single-use

Choose an enemy Hero: Apply Eternal Brand to the target, then attack the target Hero.

 

Regarding Presence & Hit Rate

Additionally, many coaches have raised concerns about whether Esports Godfather’s Presence and Hit Rate mechanics are functioning properly. Some have also reported frequent crashes during gameplay. We’ll address these key concerns here.

As stated in our rulebook, no hidden algorithms affect Hero Presence or Hit Rate. All in-game calculations match displayed values. Below is relevant code—we truly aren’t deceiving you!

 

Fight Hit

 

 

After obtaining the final hit rate from below, adjustments include:

- Hidden Hit Rate (no actual effect)

- Hidden Dodge Rate (modified by a deprecated, non-existent player skill)

Thus, the final hit is determined by the last line of code.

 

Game Configuration: Players use pseudo-random evaluation.

- Pseudo-random: 80% hit rate = exactly 8 hits in 10 attacks.

- Random: 80% hit rate ≠ guaranteed 8 hits in 10 attacks.

 

1. Summoned units’ attacks/hits are determined by their summoner.

2. Final Hit Rate (last code line):

   - Base hit rate (attacker → target)

   - Modified by target’s effects

   - Final rate = attacker’s effects modifying the target’s hit rate.

3. Base Fight Hit:

   - Determined by attacker’s Laning Hit Ability and target’s Laning Dodge Ability.

  

- Laning Hit: Based on DEFENSE, FARMING and MECHANICS stats.

 - Laning Movement: Based on DEFENSE, Reflex,FARMING and MECHANICS stats.

Normal Attack Target Selection:

Collects the presence value of each target → Randomly selects the attack target.

We’ve officially hit 10,000 wishlists on Steam!
This is a huge milestone for us, and we want to say thank you to everyone who has shown support for Lost Host. Knowing that so many people believe in our tiny car’s journey is truly inspiring.

Development is moving forward!
We’re currently working on a new location – the Village, full of atmosphere and new challenges.
On top of that, racing missions are coming to the game! While Lost Host is primarily a story-driven experience, there will be exciting gameplay moments that include racing and time-based challenges.

And yes… now the car can jump!
This new mechanic opens up even more creative and fun ways to explore the world.
