Spaceport Trading Company - digital-tectonics

Continuing the work on modding for the game.

Updates
  • Added the ability to mod in new language support

    • The game now supports mods that want to add new languages

    • We are working on some font support as well, but only minimal support was included in this update

    • We are releasing an example mod to help with this type of mod

    • Modding Guide has been updated to reflect these changes

  • Modable Options localization - all names have a localization tag

  • More UI Tweaks

Bugs
  • Addressed an issue with the Scapper where ZERO quantity could be list on an item in a captain's cargo hold making the item very hard to remove or clean up.

  • Addressed an issue with completing missions with an agent that the captain had not formally met

  • Addressed an issue with the Auto Save feature that now double checks that it overwrites the oldest file first

Future Work
  • More work is going into the tooling to help with creating mods

  • 1 more example mod is in the works - New Ships

  • Looking to add some warnings when mods that where used in a save are no longer active within the game

Hey paw lovers,
The latest Paws Against the World update is live, bringing boss improvements, boost tweaks, and key fixes. Here’s what’s new:

  • Tank Boss Upgrades:

    • Now destroys trees in 2 hits.

    • Displays HP for clearer battle tracking.

    • Fires knives for a deadlier challenge.

  • Pills & Adrenaline Boosts:

    • Extended duration by +1 second.

    • Slightly increased loot drop probabilities.

  • Slot Machine Cooldown: Added cooldown to prevent rapid re-entry.

  • Ability Removal: Can now remove chosen abilities (except the starting main ability).

  • Bug Fix: Fixed Tank Boss relocating incorrectly during fights.

* Changed: removed trading station for now, and reduced tech install costs.
* Changed: levels have more empty space around asteroids now to make small levels more enjoyable by reducing the confinement feeling.
* Changed: Vsync is on by default now, later I will add more graphics options.
* Fixed: unstable mining ship damage reduced to just 0.1hp (it was doing 2hp but was a bug) only if inside some close distance, otherwise it just does the pushback.
* Fixed: dpad navigation inconsistencies on Steam Deck.
