What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to release the game in early access so we can gather feedback that we can use to improve the game before the actual release. We want to ensure that the player has a good experience with our final game. We are currently developing the game, but want to give the user an unique experience in the first two levels. All upcoming levels will be released in a short amount of time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in early access for about a month, until all levels are ready to be released. We want to ensure that there are no, or almost no bugs in the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want to have a whole story in our game, with a good amount of levels. We will definitely add more levels as we're going. There will be a minimum amount of bugs in the full version and we want to optimize the game, so it will run on as much devices as possible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current game has two levels, a couple of known bugs and a pretty good optimization. The story starts, but has no ending yet. The ending will be added as we're going and adding new levels.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be free forever!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the user to give us feedback on everything in our game. Possible bugs, new ideas for models, levels, storyline or anything the user want to tell us. We want to actively answer any questions the community might have.

You can contact us via our website ( or our Facebook page, Instagram or Twitter @TorukoGames.”

About This Game

In Magnesia, the character you play can use his hands to make a magnet positive or negative. He can do this by shooting his hands towards the magnet he wants to change. This way the magnet can attract or repel certain objects. This mechanism has to be used in a particular way so that the player can advance in the game.

Key features:
  • Unique physics puzzle game
  • Easy to understand, difficult to master
  • Atmospheric sounds and visuals
  • Various original soundtracks
  • Full Windows support

This game is the result of 13 weeks of development at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. A team of only 15 students with no experience in programming games are responsible for this game. The project has started on October 29 2018 and will end on January 28 2019.
