Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'We love the tension of survival horror games. Basically, our goal is to make the game we’ve always dreamed of playing.
We also want SILENT DOOM development to be community-driven, and an Early Access release allows us to base further development work on community feedback as we test and refine new game mechanics.'

Hoelang blijft dit spel ongeveer in vroegtijdige toegang?

'We plan the game to be in an Early Access state for at least 12 months but that timeline could lengthen (or shorten!) depending on how community feedback shapes our own wish list for the game. Initially, we will spend a couple of months collecting player feedback and then we should be able to share a more detailed development roadmap.'

'Content such as the following will be added to the Early Access as it is finalized:
• More "Paranormal Events"
• More vastly different environments
• More Puzzles
• More languages
• More achievements
• New game mechanics

'SILENT DOOM is absolutely stable and ready to play in solo mode, the game will see a lot of changes and improvements as we move through Early Access. We want to continue to tweak the gameplay balance, performance, the visuals, and game readability.'

'Yes. We will have one set price throughout Early Access and most likely a higher price when the game fully launches.'

We want to be transparent about that process, the timeline for additions, and the reasoning behind the decisions we make. SILENT DOOM is an atmospheric first-person survival horror adventure set in a nightmarish universe. Gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving.

It is designed around the idea of "being thrown into the world". Isolated and lost inside this nightmare world.

What is going on:


You appear in a hostile surreal environment. You are surrounded by aggressive hellish creatures, you will be forced to hide and run away until you find some means of protection. Soon you'll find yourself hunted, something evil and invulnerable walks on your heels. Solve puzzles and get the necessary ingredients to perform a ritual that will take immortality from the demon and allow you to fight him on equal terms.

• Permadeath
Death is death. If you die you'll be starting again and the game will throw to you a new scenario with a different challenge.

• Level Design
We do not use procedural level generation: we have built a multi-level nightmare for you that will always create an unexpected situations and challenges.

• Gameplay
Your chances of survival will vary depending on how smartly you can use your resources based on the situation. Explore, loot and fight your demons.
