What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Since we are creating a multiplayer FPS VR game, we hope to let more people know about the game and test it out, to build a community around it. We are also hoping to create a good communication between the community and our team, so that we can customize the game after the suggestions made by the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Before the official launch, we want to make sure that the gameplay, both game design-wise and technical-wise, meets the standard that we are looking to achieve. Once we, and our core players feel that the game is in a release ready state, we will release the official version. We are expecting this to happen in Q3 this year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We have new maps, new skills, new guns and new game modes planned for the full version. This, plus feedback and suggestions given by the community and our internal teams, will be in the full version of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“So far we launched two beta tests and confirmed that the network system, gameplay and content of Stay Silent are all working as intended.
The current version of the game is stable and with entertaining gameplay. We offer 1v1 and 2v2 modes to fight AI or other players. The tutorials, group chat, custom room, level and global ranking systems are also available in the Early Access version. And we provide 2 maps, 6 guns, more than 10 kinds of different items and skills, and a variety of interactive scene elements for our players to discover in the game.
More features about the Early Access version can be found in the "About This" section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We might launch the game with a slightly higher price tag than the EA version. This is because of all the new content that we are planning on offering the players in the full version (such as new maps, weapons and game modes).”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will continue to use our official website, the Steam community and our discord channel. We will also use Facebook and Weibo to further communicate with our community. During the closed beta periods, we received many helpful suggestions and bug reports through these channels, and we will continue to use these to further improve the game.”

EA Version Beta Update Announcement

Dear Sheriff,
We plan to launch the EA version on June 21, 2019. Players who have participated in the closed beta test will be rewarded with a "Space Cowboy Hat". In the Lobby's Book of Legends, we recorded the Sheriffs who have participated in the closed beta test and given us their great suggestions which have been adopted. Similarly, we will continue to adopt good suggestions from players in the EA version, and Sheriffs with good suggestions will also be recorded into our Thank You List. The sheriffs have helped us find a lot of areas for improvement after the two closed beta tests, so we are now preparing to launch the EA version and hope to improve Hopetown together with all our Sheriffs.
