DEAD
DEAD is a free, shooting gallery game where you must survive as long as possible within the round based, or horde mode for the highest score until you are inevitably DEAD.

This is a shooting gallery game similar to CoD Zombies, L4D, or Gears of War.
You can play alone, or couch co-op with 4 people at a time. (...or, using Steam Remote Play)
The game is compatible with the Steam Deck, and was made with the controller in mind for primary use.


What is DEAD and what do I do?
DEAD features an infinite round, and infinite horde mode balanced to be fun for hours of play at a time.

Each level features an online-leaderboard to compare your final score against your friends, and the top 50 players globally.

There are 5 round based maps, and 8 infinite horde maps with more to come. (See the community announcements tab for more information)

If you complete all 11 levels, and finish potential additional levels, you are welcome to start the accompanying ARG where you are tasked with finding me, the guy who made the game. Upon completing this real world puzzle, you will receive a signed physical copy of DEAD.

Why does this exist?
This originally came out in 2020 as a fun, 1 month long project I developed. It is still being updated as of 2024 (8/1/2024).

If you find any bugs, have a feature, quality of life idea, or anything else you might want/need: please write up a discussion in the community hub for the game. I see all. This is preferred over a negative review. I go out of my way to fix anything wrong with the title whenever I get the chance!
