“Six to twelve months, hopefully.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will have the core gameplay loop mostly implemented. This means player abilities and underlying systems, as well as most of the enemies. The full version will contain more content, more levels, a more complete progression system, and a final encounter, as well as significantly more polish. Moreover, as balance is extremely important in how fun a game like ICARUS84 is, community feedback and engagement will contribute significantly to the direction of the game as it progresses to full launch.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a shorter version of the final game, but with most of the planned features already in. See the About This section for more details.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently have no plans to change the final pricing.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to tell us what they like, what they don't like, what they find fun, too difficult, too easy, what features they would like us to add, and generally give feedback on every stage of the development.”
