What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Rectifying Zion has been in development since 2011. It is worked on, on a part-time basis. Now we are pushing it to completion and our goal is to make this our first priority. While we have a strong vision for this project, we want to get the community directly involved with the development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our development plan indicates 6 months with all team roles filled. At the current pace, however, it will be around 2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As development progresses, all updates will be made available in Early Access.

  • Full day and night cycle with weather effects
  • Customizable player character, clothing and inventory
  • Customizable player character traits with dialogue abilities

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

  • 3rd Person control of player

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change when we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord server for discussions, progress and suggestions. As we continue the process we will have specific discussions and also want to get developers, artists and modelers involved with specific requirements. Early Access members will be able to join private discussions.
