What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This is on early access since it is an incomplete game and is being worked on in spare time and as a hobby.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This may never leave early access since it is dependent on my spare time and motivation. There is no guaranteed approximate time till final release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will be like the early access except have a more complete array of content. All feature primary features will be in the game at early access. Only planned changes will be more missions, maps, mechas, and maybe slight quality of life changes. Note that data might be wiped at release, but is unlikely.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The initial early access build contains A completed menu along with the test mecha map along with a full featured mecha customization and an in-game store with in game currency (NO MICRO-TRANSACTIONS!). Steam multiplayer and LAN multiplayer may still be buggy.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Nope”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“A big role is feedback by the community, what they like and don't like. However not everything can be changed, so I'm looking more towards the balancing side of things to be modified via community feedback. Feedback can be given through the steam discussion board.”

About This Game

[Development on Pause]

Conjure the power of a Seraphim (class of mecha) in Seraphims of Astraeus to fly through the skies set ablaze by the onslaught of hellfire drawn upon by skyward bound warships. Traverse the land burdened by the crisis of past civilizations at unimaginable speeds, dash past the oncoming crossfire, engaging in heavy artillery mechanized combat, and defeat the vessels of war forged the ones who dare to tarnish the sanctity of an alternate Pangaea.

Seraphims of Astraeus is a semi-realistic, part arcade-y, fast pace mecha shooter inspired by the likes of Armored Core, Gundam, and other mecha franchisee. Customize your mechas to your liking with regards to limbs, weapon, and color. Then put your creations to the test in the heat of battle against other players with Steam and LAN supported multiplayer or if cooperative play is more your taste, gather your friends and dive into the prehistoric world of Pangaea. Where the story of conflicts arise between the nations of Astraeus, Nair-Lapierre, and Karmel in a 12 mission episodic-like series.
