Miksi Early Access?

The plan for development has always been to have the game readily available for players, but of course, with the disclaimer that the story may be changed or spoiled for them if they do participate prior to its official release. This is simply to allow feedback to improve the game and its story to be ready to be finished.

The first episode or chapter is planned for release on December 21, 2018.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will contain all episodes or chapters and choices for the player to traverse throughout the story. Since an episodic release plan is intended, the official release will eventually be completed and thus the full version.

If all hopes and plans work out in The End ... the game will be free forever.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

If interested, players can help with input regarding the story, or especially any gameplay, story, or logic errors. Input will be checked for within the game Community Discussions and on Twitter per users tweeting with '#Afterdays' or '@Afterdays2012', as well as emails regarding said topic. Such input will be used to shape the story and gameplay into the game's official and full release.

Do you know ... just how terrible it is sleeping in a bomb-shelter through some solar catastrophe; hoping to God that you DON'T DIE? Well, hey, welcome to my freaking world, eh! It's a little something of what I like to call 'hell'. Not to mention, to imagine how victorious those 'Doomsday Preppers' must be feeling! Of course, maybe they didn't make it anyway. Anyway, my rear is still here ... for now ... so good luck trying to find me!

Those were the last found words of someone out there ... Maybe he or she died about that very week of the Doomsday 2012 solar flare apocalypse. Maybe said-person was too smart. God knows ... so-and-so is still on the go.

Question is: How will your journey go?

The controls are simple: you type into your keyboard your choice per each story situation. Some will do good, some will do wrong. You may find your way or you may die.

Eventually, it will end for you ... but first, try surviving the Afterdays.
