Varför Early Access?

“DASH: Danger Action Speed Heroes is a world consisting of user-generated levels. Early Access is perfect for building the database of epic levels prior to the official release. As a player during Early Access you will be shaping the world and leaderbords which will be the basis of the final release. We will use feedback and ideas for the implementations we wish to put in the game during this stage.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We expect DASH will be in the state of Early Access for a minimum of 5 months.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The experience in the full version should be based on the users efforts to create great levels and runs during Early Access. The Early Access build is based on the DASH Dev Team's and the community of already existing DASHers' levels and high scores.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Since fall 2018 we have been working on the servers, the gameplay, design and mechanics as well as audio effects and soundtrack. Everything has been shaped up to offer a full experience of both the creative as well as the competitive side. Everyone can join in and immediately create new worlds or challenge themselves in the Speed Leagues. Already now (early 2020) the game has a variety of tilesets, backgrounds, enemies, combos, power ups and last but not least heroes!! Keyboard or gamepad-based action and level editing. Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We expect the final release to be free-to-play with the option to unlock the full game or parts of it for a price. Right now we see the EA ticket as a donation to give the project some thumbs up and support.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“So far the community of DASHers have helped shape everything from the game mechanics, the UIs to (well, of course) the world we're running around in. This important part of DASH will hopefully continue in an even broader manner once the game officially launches in Early Access. The game's atmosphere is all about creating and sharing stuff which is what we are hoping the period of Early Access to be all the way.
