Miksi Early Access?

SpessVR like any other game inspired by SS13 is a large project. We'd like to put out earliest possible versions to players for them to try it out and give us feedback, so we can start off and give attention to features that truly matter the most at first.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

There are no precise timelines, SpessVR is project that has been many years in development by team of volunteers who work on it because we want to find out where it goes. We have different approach to our end goals if you'd compare this project to other SS13 remakes: we are not trying to achieve feature parity with some other 2D SS13 codebase, goal is to take aesthetics and gameplay feel of classic game, and turn it into worthy 3D/VR rendition.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

First non-early access release will feature new jobs/roles, more interactive possibilities, etc. We plan on modelling game features on original Space Station 13 game and we will accept feedback as mentioned above from community on what to prioritize first. Basically goal for release is to have all the SS13 departments represented in some way in this 3D world.

At first alpha release, we are going to have basic botany, chemistry, and some other features. Refer to "about" section on this page to see more details on current features.

No. Game will remain free to play.
