Why Early Access?

“While we are developing our game, we want to give the ability to our players to shape the game, not only based on our ideas, but also based on their suggestions and needs.
We want our game to be properly tested by actual players, and for the Community to be able to give us their feedback and suggestions.
Early access is for us the only way to receive appropriate feedback while we are actively developing our game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We will stay in Early Access for as long as is needed as it is essential for us that Typing of the Undead be properly polished before its release.
We estimate, that the Game to be released, roughly, by the 3rd quarter of 2022.
We will keep the community informed on important future dates with news on Steam, the Official website, and on social media.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We intend for the Full version to have, a Survival Mode and hopefully a Story mode.
All the improvements that will be made during early access, either from the planned roadmap or the feedback that we received from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the Game Logic is made for the Survival mode, you can play 5 Maps fully and get a feel of the Gameplay that we intend to use also for the Story mode.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The early access version will be priced cheaper than the final release.
This is because we want to show appreciation to the players that actively helped us during early access and also because of any additional costs that may occur during developing time.
The final price has not yet been decided.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be able to communicate with us and share their feedback and suggestions during our Early Access through the Official Steam Forums and Social Media and Discord Server.
The Official Steam forums can be used to express issues, ideas, feedback in general, or even report bugs.
Social Media will be used to gather your reactions, if we can, we will participate to streaming and provide answers to some questions.
Also you will be able to discuss with our developers in the Risen Realms official server on Discord.”
