故事发生在濑户内海的一个名为鸟白岛的离岛上，男主角鹰原羽依里在学校游泳比赛中失力，辜负了前辈们的期望，因此看到水便心生恐惧。为了逃避自己的内心创伤，以整理祖母的遗物为借口来到了鸟白岛。
