Why Early Access?

“Armajet is a cross platform multiplayer arena shooter featuring a deep metagame and crafting system. Super Bit Machine is dedicated to keeping the game fair and based on skill, never pay to win. Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It’s hard to tell given that we anticipate getting lots of feedback from the Early Access community that we will definitely want to address before moving on. We can safely say that Armajet will be in heavy development in Early Access for at least the next three to six months -- at which point we hope to release it in full and reach even more platforms. However, Armajet will continue to evolve as an entertainment service and supporter of competitive play to its community long after that.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In addition to refining the rough edges of gameplay we have several goals that are already well underway (and some that are still in early discussion / design phases). We may not get to all of them in Early Access depending on the feedback we get from the community, but here is our rough list:

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Armajet is functional and stable. It has many mods for crafting with cosmetic changes to the weapons. It has friending, user profiles, challenges, and directives. There are several maps to play. We think it's a lot of fun!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Armajet will always be free! We will of course be tweaking prices here and there, with the overriding goal being to ensure that the game is never pay to win!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“To give a good example of how we support the community, when we saw that players wanted to organize tournaments we implemented the first version of the custom games feature. Then, when we noticed that they were having trouble getting good footage to stream we enhanced the spectator camera. Going forward we hope to have a fully fledged spectator mode. This whole path of development was born from the needs of the community. We expect to continue to address needs like this as we proceed through Early Access!

CREATE ARMAJET CLANS! - Armajet 1.1.2 "Clan Patch" ╘[◉﹃◉]╕

Pilots get ready... CLANS are now available to CREATE and JOIN! For a LIMITED TIME in early access clan creation is available for an introductory 5000 Gold minimum (introductory period TBD) and may change at a later date. Make friends in the air and take pride in customizing your banners with a variety of symbols and colors. Also be very afraid of Super Bit Machine's very own Super Bits!



This week we've focused on an in-game feature you've all wanted back for a long time and finally we're happy to bring the Clan System back in proper form. Update 1.1.1 also focused in fixing many dreadful game-breaking bugs including the infamous Chat-Stuck bug (at least suppressed for now), Dead/Not-Dead (Undead?) bug, and various VFX and Audio glitches that ran away from us last week.

A few more QoL in-match changes include a relatively small comeback mechanism for players that have been killed 3x in a row: a shield now spawns with you to help you get back on your feet and in the air. While we focus on creating a FTUE, we feel this minor change can help all players (especially our new members) ease their way into flying with veterans—we'll see if this is retained in the future as well.

Badges, oh my! A TON of new badges are now available and even updated to reflect the current look/feel of Armajet. And speaking of updates, Medals have undergone a new graphical treatment as well—give us a shout with some of your new favorites!

We hope you enjoy Update 1.1.1 for now... these are certainly not the only 'Treats' this month but definitely gives us some time to work on a few incoming 'Tricks'... stay tuned!

  • If you've got an empty bounty slot it is now 100% Guaranteed that a Bounty will appear in your next game (what are you waiting for? Get it!)
  • Filtering user aliases and clan names have loosened up - try again!
  • Directive crashes eliminated (for users with more than 3 active directives logged)

  • Clan Name character limmit raised to 20 🙏
  • Android push notifications are fixed and now include images

Greetings, Pilots!

Over the weekend we put our lovely Bit Bot through the ringer! Below you'll find some of the most pressing issues we're addressing from the 1.0 launch in an option (but highly... incredibly recommended HOTFIX). We touch base on the progression system, in-game spawn adjustments, and various visual and audio bugs as well as paving the way forward for future features you've always wanted. WHATS NEW IN 1.05 HOTFIX

CROSS-PLATFORM IMPROVEMENTS
  • SUPER BIT ID login system initial pop-up has been addressed and now provides a more fluid user experience across platforms.
  • Changes to the PROGRESSION SYSTEM have been re-tuned and further balanced to address weapon unlock Blueprint collection. More to come!
  • Changes to the RECYCLING/CRAFTING costs to reflect weapon mod rarity items (with visual indication of Recycle Gold Cost and WeaponXP gain)
  • (QoL) Various spawn-related in-match improvements for players including non-overlapping and spawns away from enemies
  • (QoL) Spawn invincibility extended from 0.5s to 1.0s in an effort to help against spawn-killing
  • (QoL) AI/Bots are now level comparable to the average player level in the round and only carry weapons/perks available in that level range
  • Refinements to various Sound FX – additionally squashed a rollover Proximity Mine tick between lobbies
  • Addressed various glitched menu functions (Friend search to profile "Medal" bugs, "Somelongusername" bug, etc.)
  • Fixed a visual shader bug on home screen character flightsuit turning purple/red hue upon pressing 'PLAY'
  • Fixed leaderboard informational tooltip visual glitch
  • Added a more consistent alert icon for Community/News slide out drawer

iOS IMPROVEMENTS
  • Fixed a bug where accepting a friend requests would persist in the Messages drawer.
  • Fixed a recurring initial asset download bug
