What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We made this game firstly for ourselves to use in our own events and potentially selling to businesses running VR arcades or mobile booths. We got really good response from people who played this game and we want to release it to allow more people to enjoy this game that we made.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game will be in early access for an estimated 3-6 months. We hope to finish up the planned full version in 3 months and then test them out before doing a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We have some ideas that we would like to validate with our players to expand the game:
1) use furnitures like stools to build some defenses rather than just hiding below the table,
2) magic power for temporary effects like lower gravity, freeze opponent hands, telekinesis, etc. ,
3) turrets to shoot food more quickly and accurately,
4) using the entire hall for the food fight with increase number of players a room and teleport movement or thumbpad movement
5) free for all mode
6) different avatars to choose from”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The features listed in the "About This" section are all implemented (except for the coming soon paragraph of course), please refer to that section for details.

They are namely the up to 2v2 multiplayer food fight, practice mode when single player, kids scaling, haptic feedback integration for bHaptics Tactal.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will first test the new features in beta and add the features in once we think it is ready.
Yes the game will increase in pricing when we go out of early access. We are planning to have a launch price of USD 14. So its a 50% discount right now in early access, hopefully you can support us in making a great game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As a multiplayer game, community is very important to us and we would definitely engage the community to find out what kind of new features that we should focus our development on first or listen to ideas for new features.

Let us know what skins you like to see or what modes you think will be great for our game, and we may make it (and give you credit of course)”

Food Fight Easter Sale! Plus Game of Thrones-inspired skin & Magic Updates

Easter Sale
We are having a 50% off for this week until end of easter Sunday! Our easter skin is still available to change the food to easter eggs!

https://youtu.be/67wQGwlwY3o

GoT-inspired skin
We are also very excited about Game of Thrones being back for the last time and decided to make a skin inspired by them. On one side of the table, we have Team Dragon with dragon heads holding our magic balls. The other end we have Team Wolf with wolf heads. Oh and go sit on the Iron Throne if you like!

Magic Upgrades
In addition to the forward blast and chair shield, we now have more magic balls available as well add to your arsenal in food fight damage:
1) Cannon Fire - spawn a turret for a few seconds to auto fire some food at the direction you point it at
2) Strawman Defender - spawn a moving strawman at your side of the table to fend of some food.
3) Matrix Time - for a few seconds any thrown food in front of you hand slows down as it comes nearer
4) Revolving Guard - A spoon, fork and knife spins around you creating a barrier that may block food from hitting you

*Tips: store up to 4 magic balls in the wrist sockets before each food fight

Overall we got more assets to make stuff nicer generally. We will also be releasing a new map option soon where locomotion will become more important to the gameplay (hopefully end of the month) and food fight becomes a free-for-all battle mode.Easter Sale

About This Game

After months of hard work battling darkness, the IgKnights gather to have a great feast at the Guild Hall.

All was going well until right in the middle of the hall, a scuffle broke out. What started off as a small argument spiraled into an all out food war throughout the great hall. Thus the IgKnight tradition of the Food Fight Grand Battle was formed.

Challenge your friends and others to a food fight competition in VR!

Features
Up to 4 person multiplayer - Gather some friends (or enemies) to form teams and have some 1v1, 1v2 or 2v2 food fights! 30 seconds to see which team gets the most hits!

Throwing food is fun! Grab some food from the table and throw it at your opponent face! (or your team mate if you are sadistic)
Watch it splatter your face or opponent's face.

Haptic Feedback (For users with bHaptics TACTAL) - you can feel the food when it hits your face for added immersion!

Practice Mode - Throw the food against target boards to practice your aim and turrets to practice dodging or grabbing the thrown food.

Kids Mode - Scales the world down so that they can play too! Remember to get them to wear wriststraps.

Coming Soon
Free-for-all, and Large Scale Food War Mode with movement.
Campaign mode (Co-op optional)
