"The primary focus of Adapt’s development thus far has been securing the foundations of the game, as well as the aesthetic and “feel” of the world. As a result, at initial pre-alpha launch, the game will likely feel a bit easy, and a bit unregulated for most players. Major environmental shifts, events, tutorial mechanics and stats are all important upcoming features designed to enrich Adapt’s play, and create a more story-driven game experience; but have intentionally not been fully implemented prior to early access launch to prioritize refinement of the foundational elements of the game."
