«Because many of the game‘s core mechanics are already in place, most of Adapt’s future development will be centered around three main avenues: the addition of supporting mechanics (map, weather, and event progression, additional abilities, etc...), content (species parts, new adaptations, plantlife, terrain features, etc…), and, the ‘less illustrious’, ongoing stability and performance improvements.»

«The primary focus of Adapt’s development thus far has been securing the foundations of the game, as well as the aesthetic and “feel” of the world. As a result, at initial pre-alpha launch, the game will likely feel a bit easy, and a bit unregulated for most players. Major environmental shifts, events, tutorial mechanics and stats are all important upcoming features designed to enrich Adapt’s play, and create a more story-driven game experience; but have intentionally not been fully implemented prior to early access launch to prioritize refinement of the foundational elements of the game.»

I keep personal tabs on these tools, and work as directly as possible with the game’s supporters.»
