Miksi Early Access?

Mist of the Dark is a multiplayer horror game that vastly depends on putting the action in the hands of the players. With Early access, we can use player feedback to pursue the best way to do that.

We plan to transition out of Early Access between 2019-2020.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game is in a fun and thrilling state right now. We have two levels: "The Cave" and "The Sewers". Each pit a monster against a group of soldiers. We plan on releasing new environments, fixing bugs, and balancing game-play within the next few updates.

Mist of the Dark will stay free to play. We know that feeling of wanting to play a great game with your friend, only to find out they haven't purchased the title. We want this experience to be something you can enjoy with a friend at any time.

Mist of the Dark challenges your ability to survive. Hunt down a terrifying monster in a dynamic cave. Stick with your team and discover hidden advantages to take down the monster. Scare the players as the monster, use tactics to your advantage to create your own horror experience.

Create your horror story

Hunt the soldiers down using your own tactics;
Use your environment to your advantage.
Hunt, kill, and play the way you choose.

Join the hunt

As a member of the squad, you will need to coordinate with your team to kill the monster. The environment around you is unknown and dangerous. Push forward with caution and keep your eyes open. In any case, your mission is clear - survive.

We will be making huge changes to the UI, level design, and how the game itself functions. Screenshots and Trailers may not always represent what is currently in-game.
