“《遗忘之城》虽然脱胎自《上古卷轴5》，但其叙事结构并不那么西洋，结构上更像塞尔达梅祖拉假面，规模上更接近枪弹辩驳，小场景下少数立场鲜明NPC之间的碰撞和时间回溯的设定，让这款游戏更像是个精致的机械钟，不断的回到开始，重新和角色打交道。其牺牲了大部分的RPG由数值系统带来的延展性，让剧情的地位直线上升到无可替代的地步——所以，它更像一个古罗马背景的《艾迪芬奇的记忆》式步行模拟器。”
