Why Early Access?

“Bravery Software is a very small team of committed, hardworking individuals. Currently, we are funding this project from our own pockets, mostly by doing freelance work. So, every purchase - and every single dollar - helps us dedicate more of our time on Capsella’s development. Also, by launching the game in EA we can get precious information and feedback from our community, as we plan to update the build with new features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This section will be updated - and there will be a separate announcement- when we have the precise date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our current Early Access build features only the first Chapter, which is 90% complete. We are working on the following:
- Six new Chapters, bringing the total count to seven.
- New enemies - 4 per chapter, so 24 in total.
- New game mechanics, mainly Weapon and Armor upgrades and enhancements.
- Full story, along with dialogues and cinematics.
- Constant testing and polishing.
- Porting the game to other OS.
- Localization of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Our current build features the first Chapter (which is 90% complete) out of seven planned. There are four playable heroes and local multiplayer (co-op) is enabled. Single-player is created for and is best enjoyed with a controller but the keyboard & mouse combination is also available. For multiplayer, though, controllers are the only option.
A new update is coming, totally new and remade, taking into account the community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. While under development the game features a discount price which will change after release. There will be an announcement with the game’s full price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“One of the main reasons we have published the game in Early Access is to expand and involve our community. We are very active on our Discord (https://discord.gg/Rmsv4uRvt5) and we try to respond to every single comment about Capsella on our Steam page.

The feedback we take from our players is taken very seriously, so please feel free to be open and tell us your opinion and experience. It may well impact the final product.”

About This Game

In Lucern’s darkest times only a few will rise to bear the light. Are you mighty and brave enough to be one of them - to stand against the tides of darkness that threaten to engulf the world?

Immerse yourself in an MMO-like experience played from the comfort of your couch, best enjoyed with friends in co-op! Capsella the Lights of Lucern is an action-driven adventure that unites the gameplay and party systems of JRPGs with the mechanics of MMOs. Explore dungeons across different worlds, create various tactics to defeat groups of enemies and fight adrenaline-inducing bosses - all without the time-wasting leveling of MMOs.

The Link Crystals are primordial magical formations that bind all the dimensions together… Strange corruption has crept into the Crystals, twisting them and corrupting them. Left unchecked, the corruption will disrupt the balance between the light and darkness and shatter the connections between the dimensions.

Goddess Aina has chosen four heroes that have seen the light in the darkness. They have been entrusted with Capsella - a powerful artifact capable of dispelling the corruption. The heroes must carry the artifact to each of the worlds of Lucern and discover who - or what - is the force behind the corruption.

You can play as four different characters, each featuring a unique playstyle and set of techniques. It is up to you to discover your preferred way of fighting and to learn the varied synergies between the characters, as each of them performs a key role in the party.

Lucas Rochben is a knight who understands that a shield and a sword are one whole weapon and that defence is the best offence.

Aran Hathel is a mighty warrior armed with a two-handed weapon and can unleash earth - and bone - shattering blows.

Laurina Thoron is a swift archer who focuses on staying out of harm's way and dealing damage from afar.

Ambar Aranel is a powerful mystic who can sense the flows of magic and shape them to his will - either to do harm or protect his comrades.

Fight enemies and bosses across seven different worlds, joined by friends or AI allies. Discover different synergies, unlock new techniques, upgrade your equipment with elemental properties. Bear the light of Aina and dispel the darkness!
