Chibi-Usa bumps into a young man after becoming enthralled in a beautiful illustration book she had Usagi buy for her. The man coincidentally turns out to be the author of the book!

Usagi spots Minako out on a date with a handsome man. She quickly gathers her friends to spread the news, when they see Minako being dropped off by her boyfriend. Much to everyone's surprise, the boyfriend is different from the one Usagi saw earlier.

An old woman named Mayako lives alone in a huge mansion. Mayako is very distrustful of strangers, especially men, believing they are after her wealth and fortune.
