Why Early Access?

“Early Access is a great way for us to receive feedback from the community and incorporate it into the game. We want Tank Operations: European Campaign to be one of the greatest hex strategy games available on Steam. Being able to get feedback from a variety of people at this stage is a huge help to us, especially for such a complex game. We want to serve players with a high quality and intense gaming experience. That’s why we need the feedback of the players from that point on.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate that Tank Operations: European Campaign will be in Early Access for about 4 to 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We intend to release regular content updates until we reach v1.0. Above all, we want to work on one level after the other step by step. By this we want to make sure that the challenge of each level is well balanced. We want to fix common minor bugs and evaluate into which other languages the game will be translated. In addition, our goal is to to improve the gameplay in general and to offer Steam Achievements. We really would like to incorporate the suggestions and ideas of the community into the game. So please feel free to leave your feedback on the Steam discussion board!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game has a total of 12 levels. The first 6 levels are currently playable. The player can already expect a lot of fun despite the rough edges, lack of balance, possible bugs and missing content. Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be released as Early Access with a discount. With the release of version 1.0, the price will increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Getting feedback from the community is the reason why we are going through Early Access!
So we plan to keep a very close eye on the forums and social media in order to implement the players’ feedback promptly. Whether it’s bug reports, ideas or general criticism; we appreciate your feedback.”
