Hvad udviklerne har at sige:

Hvorfor tidlig adgang?

“Over the past few weeks we've had the free demo available and the player feedback from that alone has proven invaluable in improving the game. We want to work with our players to make sure the game is the best it can be, and we think the right next step for that is to enter early access.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We aim to conclude early access within a few months, but we will stay flexible to respond to player's thoughts and feedback.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“We have implemented a lot of content and systems in the game already and we are now really focused on addressing player feedback.
Balancing the gameplay and adding to or removing from the scope will all be mainly driven by player feedback.
We also aim to add some localization and Mac & Linux support.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“A huge amount of content is already in the game, but some systems need more balancing and tweaks. There are still some bugs and performance issues to address, but the game should be playable for a number of hours already.

Here's what you can already do in the early access version:
  • Build furniture, decorations, equipment and entertainment items from a list of over 220 items in your Hipster Café. Hipsters just wanna have fun.
  • Make stupid food by combining 80 weird ingredients, serve it up on one of eight different "plates". Manage your menu to impress over 30 different types of hipsters.
  • From filter coffee to cold brew, adjust the flavour of 10 types of coffee, and impress the hipsters by drawing what they ask for with the latte art in their coffee.
  • Keep up to date on the latest trends on social media. Send out a Toot with the right hashtags before the Hot Take timer goes out to gain bonus followers for your café!
  • Research to unlock the improved entertainment items, better café equipment and more ingredients.
  • Choose the colours and floors of your café, and design it's unique logo.
  • Hire and manage your very own staff from more than 30 hireable characters.
  • Call your dad when you run out of money, or just to ask 'What's up?'.

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“We are not currently planning to change the price on leaving early access.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“We are planning to listen very closely to the player feedback in whichever form it comes. There is a built in feedback button in the game, as well as discussion forums on Steam and an anonymous google form that can be used for feedback. Please be aware that we are a small team and are not always able to address each person with a written response, but be assured we try to read everything.”

Om dette spil

Ever wanted to design, build and manage a café on your very own home computer? Really? OK then... welcome to HIPSTER CAFÉ.

-Make stupid food, serve it on a skateboard, and impress your friends by drawing in your coffee.
-Is that a utility object or décor? Customise your space to keep it at the cutting edge of design.
-Fill your café with the latest greatest entertainments and distractions. You should probably put an axe throwing range in your café, that seems safe.
-Keep up to date on the latest trends on social media, send out a Toot with the right hashtags before the Hot Take timer goes out.

Use your trust fund to buy up some old warehouse building in the run down part of town then market it to the nouveau riche in a cynical attempt to drive up property prices. Can you successfully navigate the shifting waters of pop culture in order to market your eatery to the hippest demographic?

Developed in the Loading Bar in the hipster centre of Dalston, London by a bunch of hairy people who work as 'freelancers in media', Hipster Café is a simulation game based on very real life experiences. In it, you must serve up a menu based on the latest trends, research more obscure coffees and entertain the Hipsters by building up a map of ridiculous furniture.
