Varför Early Access?

“I am creating a game I have always wanted to play, I have always loved RPGs and one of my first true loves was Moonstone.
Being both a game developer and a player, I know that balancing is a very difficult and demanding task. I believe the game would benefit from community feedback and I will try to implement any new ideas that would make the game better.

The game I am working on combines familiar mechanics from some of my favorite games with quite a few original ones, I very much enjoy trying out new features and the game is therefore currently in a state of flux where new features are added and old ones are cut if I don't feel they improve the game. Player support and participation are invaluable in the development process, especially to a solo developer.

Join me in my quest to make Realmstone a better and deeper game, but expect resistance, this game is not intended to be easy.”

“One year, depending on community feedback.”

“There are some features that I want in the game:
- Noncombat instances.
- More elaborate city ownership.
- More classes and better class balance.
- Better mob AI.
- More mob and player ability types.
- Better mob raid planning.
- Better and more intuitive GUI.
- Higher player capacity.
- Steam workshop.
- Better customization tools.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The game already has a lot of features to play with and with the new private server possibilities, server load is no longer a big issue.
Current features include:
- Quests.
- Multiplayer with 50 player server capacity and private server options.
- Raiding monsters.
- Caravans.
- Cities that can be captured by both monsters and players.
- 6 different factions.
- Cross faction coop play.
- Crafting.
- Customization tools to allow players to balance abilities and creatures.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The price will go up when the game leaves early access.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“I will involve the community as much as possible using the Steam discussion board, It is my goal to make a game that is fun, not only for me, and I strongly believe that this can only be achieved by keeping an open mind and listening to the community, while never losing track of your vision and the heart of the game.

I will attempt to release a patch biweekly that will hopefully not only include game performance improvements but new features as well.”
