Why Early Access?

“Asimov Laws is far from finished in art styles.
Yet the game-play is already fun, and we'd put it into the hands of the players as we make the game experience even better.

Frequent updates based on feedback and community input is exactly what we want to provide. We plan to release updates every two weeks with new content, fixes, and incorporating feedback. We will work very closely with the community to improve the game.

It'll last about 4 - 8 months.

We've finished one city, and there's 2 more city to implement. Right now you have about 8 - 12 hours on average for one play-through.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in Early Access for around 4-8 months. We have been working on this game for almost 2 years, and believe that this is the amount of time needed to finish up the game with all of the content and polish that we want.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have lots of additional and improved content, including five character transformation, more abilities, more robot butlers and level experiences, ten more boss fights, and social features will be incorporated as the community grows. We will be directly looking to the community to determine how and when new features and content gets added.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently there are:

3 sets of abilities with 6+ different ability on each.
4 Sections of mining city, each with brand new level experiences.
6 dimensions of facilities and unique genetic adaptations we can choose to upgrade.
4 wardens guarding the gate of each section.
100+ different items to be found.

At the current stage, Asimov Laws already has lots of content to explore and great replayability. Right now, fully beating the game takes an average of about 8-12 hours. The main focus of Early Access will be harnessing community feedback to improve the game even further.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Early Access supporters will receive a lower price. We plan to raise the price when the full game is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Working with the community is the main reason we came to Early Access. Throughout the Early Access process we will be working with the community to improve the game.

Game Balance:
We want a tough but fair experience. Unjust situations should be hunted down and eliminated. We’re aiming to provide challenging gameplay with a learning curve for hard core gamers. we’re counting on the community helping out a lot with this.

Suggestions and ideas:
We actively encourage members of the community to contribute their ideas on how to improve the game with new content or design ideas. We have a pretty clear vision of what we want to create, but we'd like to be able to incorporate any awesome ideas we receive from you where possible.

In our daily routine we have been tirelessly fixing bugs with a team of internal testers. However, with so many permutations of cards and new content coming in, there is bound to be more issues. We believe that having a bug free experience is key in immersing yourself into the game.

Asimov Laws focus a lot on science fiction and we want it to be hard core, so there's a lot to translate. We want the game to be seen by as many people around the world as possible, and we cannot do it without community support. Players that understand the game on a deep and technical level always create better translations than outsourcing to non-players. Stay tuned for more.”
