왜 앞서 해보기를 진행하나요?

“With Arrowborn being a multiplayer focused game, we would like to use Early Access to attempt to build a healthy player base and establish a hopefully vocal community. We want to refine the competitive and casual aspects of the game, and really want to use player experience feedback as the primary basis for that.”

얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“Likely 6-12 months. We have some specific features we would like add to Arrowborn and would prefer to utilize player feedback as they are developed. Once those features are implemented and the community contributors seem satisfied with them, we will move Arrowborn out of Early Access.”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“Early Access will be focused adding depth and customization to Arrowborn and improving the finer gameplay points as multiplayer matches continue and feedback is collected.

1. New Co-op / Single Mode: Improving on the Wave Defense mode, boss fights, etc.
2. Cosmetics: Earn helmets, bows, gloves etc, to customize your look.
3. New Multiplayer Mode: Team objective-based point capture or CTF.
4. Adding daily quests/objectives to earn gold to purchase cosmetics.
5. More maps, sounds, and music!”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“Arrowborn currently features 3 playable modes. Free-For-All (FFA), Team Deathmatch, and Topshot. Each track player stats and have leaderboards for tracking progress against global competition. We think it's fun and fairly well balanced, but we're looking for more players to confirm that. We have marked the previously available Wave Defense mode as "Coming Soon" because we feel we can make this co-op mode much more interesting, and are planning to improve and release a better rendition during Early Access.”

“We do not plan on changing the price when we leave Early Access.”

Arrowborn Enters Early Access!

During beta we tested out Wave Defense mode, and while many of you enjoyed it, we think we can make something much more exciting. We're aiming for big boss encounters with non-linear minion movement, and overall just a more epic feel. We also want to make use of the support arrows we've added as well (for you MMO healer types), and offer more flexibility to changing loadouts in order to offer a wider range of winning strategies! We'd love to hear your inputs on this as we go!

Yes we're also sick of everyone looking the same in the game as well! We're going to add an assortment of wearable items such as Helmets, Gloves, Chest pieces and Bows, and make them available in an area where you can check yourself out, before hitting the action. The plan is to make some of them unlockable via in-game credits that would be earned based on match performance (not micro transactions). Perhaps even some unlockable via Steam achievements, or only open to the current top of a leadboard exclusively, just to give you something to... shoot for.

We'd like to experiment with an objective-based team multiplayer mode to keep competitive matches interesting. We were considering a point-capture style game like king-of-the-hill or 5-point capture, and/or perhaps a flag based mode such as capture the flag. Will be looking for your inputs on this one!

Maps! Sounds! Music!

Naturally we plan to add new maps to the current FFA, Team DM, and TopShot modes. We already have a few in the works! Also we'll be steadily adding more sound effects within the game with a matching musical score to help round out the Arrowborn experience.

Arrowborn brings you the fast-paced and visceral action of a multiplayer first-person shooter and combines it with the immersive experience of virtual reality archery. Show your lethal accuracy and clever map tactics as you load your quiver full of deadly magical arrows and lay waste to the competition!

Select from an ever-expanding assortment of magical arrows each with their own unique way of wreaking havoc on your opponents and giving you the advantage. Attach a powerful gem to your armor to increase your survivability or boost your mana pool to fit your playstyle! Spec out defensively and utilize your shield to score points by blocking the incoming barrages!

No teleporting here. Free roam down hallways, then super leap along cliff sides, and bound over buildings all while putting your arrows on target. Get those big point bonuses for sweet mid air shots! Once you land, feel the true immersion VR brings as you step into cover behind a nearby pillar, wall, or railing.

Sling on your quiver and steady your aim to experience the action-shooter genre from a whole new virtual perspective. Use your aiming skills to outshoot and outmaneuver the competition in a variety of game modes! Drop into a Free-For-All for a 10 player shootout, or team up in Team Deathmatch, just like old school shooters. Add Bots to the game and go Players versus Bots in a few rounds of comp stomp.

Is the raw action too chaotic for you? Try TopShot mode for an accuracy-focused target shooting competition and climb the leaderboard with your sharpened aim.
