為何採用搶先體驗模式?

「Strive is an expensive game to build, and don't think only in terms of money. It's expensive in terms of time. Its expensiveness is coupled to its ambitiousness. From day one, we were aiming to craft an innovative, refreshing experience, merging mechanics already known--and hugely accepted--by the gaming community with a unique gameplay.

We're currently a small team of 5 great people, working at our own expenses, doing the best to deliver the game we've been dreaming from day one. For us, Early Access is an opportune way to, with our players, identify wisely on where we'll be investing our time during the development phase, decreasing the overall error margin of building something that people won't like.

That being said, Early Access will help us with community. And to have a great full version, Strive needs it.」

「The day of tomorrow is a complete vacuum for us. We do need to measure community acceptance in order to decide our next moves, such as what features are more important or what bugfixes require better attention.

That being said, it's hard for us, at this very moment, to establish an exact due date for the game to leave Early Access. Several factors are on the table, but rest assured that we're aiming to be in shape to a full release by late 2019.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同?

「The full version of Strive will be most likely shaped by the feedbacks of the community. We already have a solid outlook of what we want Strive to be, but our players have an essential role in helping us to better predict the fate we're pursuing.

Our main goals are to create a diverse, friendly, fun and competitive gameplay, with better graphics, sound effects, particles, etc. and great polishment. Notwithstanding improvements in our game accessibility and player experience.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何?

「It's an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). We designed just only the features necessary to spread our vision of what Strive is.

Just a few playable characters, a very simple, yet functional, User Interface, zero cosmetics, just a few game settings, and nearly zero in-game tutorials and guides.

However, despite the lack of content, Strive already offers hundreds of explorable gameplay possibilities to the player, resulting in funny, surprising matches. Worry not--the replayability is high and will get better on every patch.」

「The price will be decreased as the full release approaches.」

「We want the community participating on every aspect of the game development. Aesthetical, sonorous and gameplay design decisions included.

We've built a foundation that we think players might love. From this foundation beyond, the possibilities are endless and a small team is far from being enough to always make the right choices. Community is essential here.

Unique, competitive gameplay


In Strive you will have to collect several materials, craft your own items, face wild creatures, run from or eliminate human foes and all of this together if you want to win. The rule is simple: the best strategy gets the worm.

2 ways to win


Either you survive (and kill) to be the last player alive or ignore everyone and go straight to the Emperium, the core of the game, to break it--both ways will lead you to victory. Regardless of the path you take, don't forget to always watch your back because other players will be pursuing the first place as much as you.

Quick matches or long matches: the best strategy will decide


From 10 minutes to 10 hours, there is no time limit for a match. The game is designed to be fast-paced, no limits are set--the match only stops once one of the two victory rules are satisfied.

Compete against 5 to 10 players


With an integrated matchmaking system, you'll be able to play matches from 5 to 10 players to see who's best.

A huge items diversity


With 30+ craftable items and no shops where you buy or sell gear, you have to face level creatures and collect their materials to craft the items you think are best suited for the match and character you're playing.

Easy to get into


Strive requires less than 8 matches to understand everything that is going on. After that, all you have to think about is the best strategy to win the game.

Gloriously strategic


Strive is deeply strategic - with immense possibilities of the crafting system and two paths to victory, you will have to carefully consider your options. Your foes are likely to always do something unexpected.

PvP or PvE win the game


You read it right--a match can be perfectly won without requiring you to kill other player-controlled characters or other player-controlled characters to be killed. If you're not in the mood to PvP, alright--focus on the Emperium and the victory may be even more rewarding.
