About This Game

Hi, this is the first game from a former 2-person company (UPDATE: As of 2026, it's just 1 person now. Shit happens...). Development started in 2014, and over the years, a lot happened: daughters, family, a hacked website, lost game core backup files due to a hard drive error (right after the last patch), my father’s passing, etc.

I can no longer update the game due to the backup issue, so please keep that in mind before buying and when writing your Steam review. Older reviews were answered by the former co-founder. She has moved on, so I am now personally answering all of them. Sorry for any past mistakes regarding those responses.

Brazilian Root® is an indie first-person action game set in fictional locations across the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Benjamin, a former special operations soldier, retired from service to enter politics and help people. He was running for governor, but just 30 days before election day, his daughter was mysteriously kidnapped.

Now, Benjamin must relive his combat days—and you will help him rescue his daughter and get his revenge.
