What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Game testing is one of the important circle of game development. As an indie developer, I don’t have enough time and sources to do testing things well alone. So, I want to invite players to join the progress of game development. The core part of this game has been finished so far, but the experience still needs to hear players’ opinions to improve. I’d love to make this game much better with you guys together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The EA stage is expected to last three to six months. I will update the following contents continuously during this stage.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have more levels, more Steam related features (achievements, cloud save) and more. More interesting mini-games will be added also.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of the game has finished main mode: "Quick play mode". It has several maps already. The game also have Story mode(not finish), Endless mode and Mini-games mode which now contains two mini-games, will add more soon.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to evaluate the content after the release of the full version and decide the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will evaluate each new mode based on community feedback and decide how to improve the mode and whether to further develop this.”

Automatic rifle? Vote for game develop decision

Greetings cowboys,

In the lowpoly version, I added automatic rifle into the game which is not invented yet back to 1800s. Because in my opinion the game should mainly focus on having fun. I prefer to provide more weapon genre instead of been restricted by history.

However, according to the feedback, I realized not all players seem be happy about this. One negative review point out: "the gun selection is bizarre and anachronistic."

Since the new DLC is the "realistic" version, should I keep the gun selection been realistic too? Or add the automatic rifle so there will have more weapon genre. I'd like to hear your thought and make this decision by the result of this survey.

About new upcoming update and realistic version

Hello Cowboys,

It's been a while since last blog posted. I was planning to update the game by the end of April, however, making the realistic version really cost me more unexpected times due to lack of experience of unreal engine 4.

Today I'm going to intro the upcoming content and future plan about this game.

About new update:
The next update v0.3 will be playable on the next week. This update is mainly focus on content fill for existing mode, especially for Story Mode. There is no new mode on this update but will have new maps for each mode and new mini-game. so, whether which mode you like, you will find new contents there.
I will post another blog about detail for the update once it's online.

When will the realistic version playable:
And for those people who waiting for realistic version, I'm glad to tell you the first version will release very soon. (within this month).
I have finished all the basic parts such as controller and AI, and some features like dynamic sky which make the game looks even better. I'm now looking for some decent character models and impact particles to replace the demo ones. Once the art asset replacements are finished, I will run a quick test to make sure it plays smoothly for the most current-gen graphic card.

How to play realistic version
The realistic version will come as a Free DLC. The reason why I do this is mainly because this version would cost much more space for the hard-drive. So if it comes as a DLC, you can easily choose whether install it or not instead of install bunch of content anyway. Also the hardware requirement is different. I will do my best try to optimize it, but still you cannot expect some very old graphic card can run the current-gen environment.

That's all I got today. As always, if you have any question or suggestion, please leave a reply in the comments section. The discussion boards are also welcome.
Wish you best and good luck.

About This Game

(Notice: The price of the game is for the complete content. Currently, the game only finished about 40% contents for the whole plan. The Quick Mode is the main mode playable. Story mode, Mini-games mode and other modes still need months development to finish.)
The inspiration for making the "Take That" is derived from when I play a lot of shooting games, I often must go through login, selection, matching and many other complicated processes. It took a long time to finally begin to experience the core content of the game.

Why is it so troublesome!?
Sometimes, like my lunch break, I just want to play a quick game.

So, I decided to make a game without so much nonsense and can quickly start the game, a shooting game but like mobile games can be opened at any time to relax.

Fast-paced shooting game, can quickly play the core content, this is the core feature of this game!

For now, the game have four modes:
Quick Mode, Endless Mode, Story Mode and Mini-games Mode.
Quick mode would be the main mode.

Features of quick mode

  • It can be started within seconds
  • Three difficulties for each map
  • Maximum 5 extra waves
  • Three enter-points can be chosen
  • Hire bounty hunters to help you

Story mode has some simple storytelling, currently only has 4 levels, still need time to develop.
Endless mode is a new mode where players play on a much larger map and clear battle points. Enemies drop items and so on.

If you like to know more about mode intro, you can check the update blogs. I have post few blogs to intro more detail about this game.
