Why Early Access?

“Beavers Be Dammed entered early access because we, as a team of 6 students, need your feedback to improve and expand upon our game. The game is currently about 8 weeks in development and the time is right to bring Beavers Be Dammed to the players to find out what you think of our goofy beavers. Together with the community we want to shape the future of Beavers Be Dammed by adding new features and content tailored to your feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Early Access will end before the end of August 2018.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will contain around 30 levels, new features like hazards & Steam Achievements and polished existing features. At the moment the goal of Early Access is generating feedback and using that feedback to polish what we have. The next step is to create more content with new hazards and features in tight collaboration with the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the Early access version contains a two player local co-op mode with full controller support. In this version the player can expect 8 levels full of goofy beaver madness, including a level progression system with STEAM cloud integration.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will likely be priced and/or have priced features after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is the key factor of why we decided to have Beavers Be Dammed in Early Access. We need you, the players, to play our game and tell us what you think, positive or negative. Using our STEAM Community Hub, we will be in touch with you guys by teasing you with new content and asking you important questions about the game's state and future.”
