Wozu Early Access?

„VR Gaming is still in its infancy. With the various hardware setups and the reaction people get to playing with Motion Sickness etc, we believe its important that we get feedback from our players on what we develop as we develop it. The easiest way to do this is with Early Access. We also want our players to take this journey with us. To see how your feedback and comments affect what we do, and hopefully with regular deliveries you'll see how we progress towards that feedback.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„Our target is to move out of Early Access early in 2018. However this will be based on the feedback from you, the player, and how you feel we are progressing with our levels of stability and content.

We feel that we are close to completion of the "tech" of our product, this means combat, movement, loading etc is near complete and now we need to work on "content", that is levels, puzzles and interactions that the user experiences. As content will be delivered periodically with updates and new episodes, this is expected to be behind the tech delivery.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„The early access version of World Apart is primarily a technical demo. This is used to ensure our movement, interaction systems, combat and overall performance is working as intended. The main game story line will be delivered after completion of Early Access as part of Episodic Deliveries - every few months a new episode will be released to advance the story arc.“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„The current Early Access version delivers one full working level, The Laboratory, where players can try out the various interactions and tutorials and also get teasers of how the story line will develop without being subjected to too many spoilers.“

„Each episode will be individually priced, to reflect their size and complexity. The Early Access version will have a very low entry cost level compared to each subsequent episode.“

„As experienced developers as well as gamers ourselves, we know how passionate the gaming community can be. That's why we aim to have a continuous dialogue with our players both in our social media channels as well as the Steam Community Forums. Our goal is to have regular updates for the Early Access game, based largely on direct discussion with our player base.

Once the first real episode of World Apart is released, our Early Access players should expect to feel like they have been able to make a real impact on the final product.“
