Why Early Access?

“Rise of Ages will have six evolution ages, each with a unique story. We want people to play as soon as possible and at the moment we have the stone age practically completed and fully playable from start to finish, there is no reason to wait until the completion of other ages to start playing.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 2 and a half years. There's still a lot of content we want to add to the game, five new ages with unique story, enemies, items, maps and systems, plus mulitplayer mode, and we want to be honest about how long that will take.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have all the historical ages and their corresponding campaigns. Several systems will be added and more exploration maps to venture out. The game will bring a larger collection of items and decorations from all the historical eras present for the player to build their civilizations.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game contains the first historical age complete with a campaign that can already be played to the end. It is possible to explore several complete biomes, build with several blocks and decorate with a collection of decorative items from stone age. Some technologies can already be achieved in order to unlock items to be manufactured.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase after early access once the content referring to the last era of history is added, determining the end of that period. Although we have yet to study more about what this increase will be, we believe it will be moderate.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will add new content throughout the entire period. Historical eras will be added over the early access in major updates. In this way the player can always re-play a new adventure at no additional cost. We'll be announcing updates, posting trailers for the big updates, and we'll always be fixing bugs to keep the game running smoothly.
