What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We see Early Access facilitating connection with an engaged community who have "skin in the game." We believe players that care enough about our game to make a modest financial investment will also contribute the most useful input as we strive to make our game better.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We envision the early access period to be between 6 months to a year -- It will all depend on how it goes. We're committed to fully releasing this game as soon as it is truly complete and fully polished.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release will contain at least 15 planets, 35-50 different rocket parts, and many dozens if not hundreds of different kinds of food -- along with a few other surprises.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At this writing, the main game loop is fully playable. There are three planets to visit, a handful of rocket parts and about 30 different kinds of food. We plan to rapidly expand the number of rocket parts available as well the number and variety of missions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have not yet set the final release price, however, Early Access buyers will definitely recieve a discount compared to the final release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“To us, Early Access is all about reaching out to the community for input on gameplay and content. We have a community forum on our website, as well as a Wiki where engaged community members can contribute.
We've included a bug report mechanism directly into the game, making it easy (and even kind of fun) to report any issues players encounter.”

About This Game

Design and build rockets, and fuel them with food. Explore a galaxy filled with strange planets.

As a rocket designer and space explorer, your success will depend on exploiting nutrients in a variety of foods to power your space ship. Unlock new parts to build multistage rockets.

Gameplay: Design and build rockets in the hangar, using a variety of parts -- boosters, fuel tanks, capsules, couplers and special modules -- that snap together. Load fuel into your rocket using a grapple-equipped copter. The fuel for your rocket is food; each rocket booster type has different nutrient requirements so you must choose wisely! As you progress you'll find obstacles you must overcome while fueling. Once the rocket is ready, choose a mission to earn bonuses and blast off. Escape into orbit to travel to strange new planets with new challenges!
