Why Early Access?

“The main reason is — we need funds for the bigger development team and to rent dedicated servers to bring you a better experience.
We don't want to bring an unready and weak game and have tons of ideas how Qbike can evolve.
Though the game is already playable and brings lots of fun online, we want to share with you new interesting gameplay ideas and hear your opinion.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are planning on remaining in Early Access for 6 months, but if there will be reasons to stay longer — we will stay. It is very important for us to make a good game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final Qbike will bring you various challenges on futuristic motorcycles.
We plan to include innovative Landgrab and Infinity Race challenges.

Also, Deathmatch mode will be improved with Team Deathmatch, Time Deathmatch and other classic modes.
We plan to add bike upgrades and different perks to players to choose from before the race.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now you can choose one of three powerful motorcycles and start a deathmatch online.

Online and Local multiplayer.
Training mode.

There are two deathmatch modes available:
— Short Trail will vanish after some time.
— Long (infinity) trail will last until the player dies.

And two maps to ride:
— Simplex brings you fast and violent action in a small place.
— Quadrocopter is a vast map with lots of jumps — better for Long trail mode\\
— Pillars”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price is expected to change after Early Access and maybe even during EA.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The Community will have a huge impact on the development of the game.
We regularly check our Discussions section, /r/Vive and we encourage everyone to provide feedback and ideas.
With your, help we can build an interesting and unique VR experience!

We going to post GIFs, videos and other work-in-progress stuff so we can get feedback on whether people like the direction.”
