«After a long period of closed pre-alpha the game core technology and creative aspect is finally stable. It is now providing a top-notch and very mature building experience and a fun combat gameplay. Quite a few testers already played it 100+ hours!
In order to put the game to the next level and make our way toward survival mode we need player feedback on combat and see how player creations are pushing the game balance.
Sandbox building game are by nature very player centric, having as much player input during the development is key to any voxel game and especially true to a game with as much creative freedom as Starship EVO.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«Starship EVO has a tremendous potential, which means that with the help from the community were are willing to push it as much as we can! Once a stable and enjoyable survival gameplay loop is implemented we will exit the early-access phase.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«Right now the game is in a Creative plus Battle state.
We are looking forward to deliver a survival mode where players will start with a small ship and slowly make their mark in the galaxy by earning cash, mining asteroid and building bigger and more powerful ship as they go. As we work toward this main vision we also want to add features wanted by the community that add value to the overall experience: more vehicle types, planetary tech and more.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«Starship EVO has been played by a lot of testers and backers for a long time. After several major changes to the building experience we now have a very mature building experience. Combat is a more recent addition but already had quite a few iterations and will provide a fun and tense experience to the player. Player can expect to work immediately on their spaceship vision and bring them to combat. They can spawn or repair any ship for free.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«The price will progressively rise as more features are added. Early Access includes the full game on release.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«Starship EVO started its life as a kickstarted game (under the name of Skywanderers), and has had play testers from the beginning. The dev talks a lot on youtube and github and frequently ask for feedback. Many features were added directly because of player requests or after a brainstorming with the community. This has been working very well for us and we will continue on this path!»
