What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“To get feedback on Robosoul development in the right directions and make it the best game it can be. As Robosoul may sometimes look as a straightforward shooter, some mechanics of the meta-game are rather complex and need lot of balancing and playtesting. From day one of development, the feedback of players are a key element to make Robosoul a great game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“When its done.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will include the full story, more gameplay, more enemies, more bosses, more levels, full-controller support and will be more polished overall. What is available in the EA version is basically a vertical slice of the game, that means that the full version will grow mostly in quantity and quality.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All listed gameplay features in the "Gameplay" section are implemented, a few more minor mechanics (not listed) are not done yet. Basically, the game is split into 3 parts, with part 1 of the levels and story available in early access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be increased on release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As Robosoul has many innovative mechanics, it needs a lot of testing and feedback from players. Your comments, ideas, suggestions and issues on the Steam Discussion board for the game (in the Community Hub of the game) are very welcome.”

About This Game

Robosoul is a dynamic and innovative action-adventure game that combines old-school FPS action, two worlds to explore, strategic gameplay elements and stealth mechanic.

Discover a story about a family that set out to colonize the planet Pax-Animi. Play as Daniel, the son of two scientists who loses his mortal body and whose consciousness is transferred to the planet's mainframe network.

Robosoul is an easy to play but hard to master game.

You play as Daniel in a computer simulated world, from there, you can enter the real world as Robosoul, a powerful robot, to fight in the war against the shadow-aliens.

  • Explore the real world and the simulation completely at your own pace, both worlds are different but are connected in many ways
  • Overpower the enemy AI with your own army of robots and capture cores to gain energy and power the simulation
