“Кривой подобие выживание-песочницы в вечном раннем доступе...
За полуголого мужика бессмысленно бегаем по горам\долинам. Не вижу смысла тратить на это время, даже бесплатно.
0.3 Пустого мусора из 10.”

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The development team is small, and by going early access it will allow us to produce higher quality content, over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in early access until the game is fully stable with all intended features. This will take approximately one year, assuming appropriate funding and talent is available. The goal is to get the full release done by December 2020 with further features consistently being added. If all intended features are not possible (due to lack of funding, or appropriate talent), I will take all existing features and attempt to make them as clean as possible (fixing any major bugs, and glitches) and then release the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Please note these are not promises and are very dependent on time, and available funding.

Features in the full release:
Player abilities
- Examples:
- Invisibility, flight, etc
Character customization
Single Player Mode
Added structure types
Weapon enchantments as well as upgrades to weapons

Tribe System Defined:
The concept is as follows:
Tribe Owner cannot be kicked
Tribe Owner Can initiate Alliances which would make their traps, turrets and other structures become neutral to our tribe members.
Tribes cannot place structures right next to each other, when a tribe owner places a structure, other players cannot place theirs within a set radius around any foundation of another tribes.
Tribe Structures will be barred by a ranking system
Rank 5 - Owner
Rank 4 - Administrators
Rank 3 - User-Defined, each door, storage, and other object may be defined whether or not it can be interacted with (like a door or storage chest).
Rank 2 and One are also User-Defined and can be used to give the players more control over their tribes.

Cooking System Defined:
In order to cook we need ingredients, and we also need a heat source (camp fire) each heat source will allow us to cook certain types of food. For example, the camp fire will only allow us to cook low level foods, such as cooking simple raw meats into cooked meats. (Raw Meat => Cooked Meat). Each player will be required to take logs, and a type of food they want to cook and place it into a camp fire.

Resource Gathering System and Crafting Defined:
The Resource Gathering System and Crafting System are hand in hand.

In order to craft a recipe we must gather the resources to craft the recipe. All items must be crafted, by gathering the necessary components. For example, a torch may require thatch, and wood. Each item will have a set weight, and when the user gets their weight to max (100kg) they will be unable to move their character from their current location until they drop items, or move them from their inventory into storage.

Resource Gathering:
Players may use Hatchets to gain more of a specific resource, for example a hatchet may give more wood than thatch, and a pickax (the pickax is not currently implemented into the game as of yet) may give more metal ore than flint and stone.

Metal Items:
You may need to smelt an ore, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, or another ore in order to receive ingots or a bar equivalent (Currently, only steel ingots have been implemented). By making it so that a user must input 5 metal ore to get a single metal ingot or bar, we are able to control the economy of the game and limit players from mass producing huge metal bases in a quick amount of time.

Melee Combat System Defined:
The Melee Combat System will force players to be more hands on with the animals in the Veritex Universe. Each animal will have a different movement speed which will make them more, or less threatening. Some animals will not even attack you (such as deer).

Players will be able to first craft and or use the following items (as well as basic attacks such as punching):
Knives
Hatchet

Each item will have its own damage amount.

Metal Purification (Smelting):
Players will be able to mine metals starting from the beginning at level one. However, they will not be able to purify the metals until they are able to craft a smelter. The smelter will take a flammable object (wood, oil, etc) and burn the metals and then spout out a metal ingot for the player to use to craft structures, items, or other craftables.

Advanced Furnace (feature is not implemented as of yet) will allow the player to create more metal, at a faster rate, as well as allow the player to save flammable objects because of the faster conversion rate.

Temperature System:
At night, we get lower temperatures
Temperature can be set by biome, and has a minimum and maximum range

Lower Temperature Effects:
Possible hypothermia, causing your health to go down, also causing you to lose food at an increased rate

Higher temperature Effects:
Heat stroke, can cause your character to go unconscious, also causes you to get thirsty at an increased rate

Further North, Lower Temperatures, Further south, more warm tropic temperatures.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is planned to not change it's pricing even after early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is a integral part of our team. The community is what is going to decide what we prioritize in our development. We would like to have a system where players can vote on a single update per patch which may or may not be added. The votes are an important part of how we develop as they will let us know if we are moving towards our goal of becoming the best multiplayer survival game in the world. If you are happy, we are happy.”
