What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“momo tried to design a new way to play for VR, it was untested, and there was no similar game. So hopefully, through Early Access I can get your feedback and help.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“two month”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During the Early Access you can only play "VR Cube World" one game.
Early Access will open more privileges to players for the game testing purpose. But at the same time will also close some problem areas.
The final version will be based on player's feedback to make some adjustments, will have a better interface, smoother game flow, and open all areas.
The other two games are smaller than "VR Cube World", they will be updated on the final version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Temporarily you can only paly part of the "VR Cube World" game. Perhaps will update the other two games during the Early Access, depending on the progress of the development.
Early Access will open more privileges to players, frankly speaking, is open all weapons to choose. But at the same time will also close some problem areas. Closed areas will gradually open after bugs fixing(mainly optimization problem).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Prices will not change except discounts”

Game Features Introduced

CUBE-C is a full 3D somatosensory that is completely new in design and exploration both in VR technology and gameplay. In the VR / game technology, the main attempt to solve the following questions:

  • 1. Create a VR game without vertigo. VR experience process, for most people, is more easily dizzy, the average time to feel dizzy about 15 minutes. The game is committed to solving this dizzy problem, playing CUBE-C process, excluding the personal physical reasons,(such as discomfort or vision problems) you will not feel dizzy;
  • 2. Good interactive VR world. The game tries to give player the full sense of control in the VR world(The price to pay for this is that the game's model is crude, but it does not affect your senses.), including: free walking and games;
  • 3. Good VR interface. While trying to ensure the interactiveness of the game, CUBE-C tries to make a viable game interface for a scalable, actionable and interactive game.
  • 4. Relatively Open World. For the time being there is no one designed open world game specifically for VR. CUBE-C provides a relatively open world: you can walk anywhere in the map and interact with objects in the environment without feeling dizzy;
  • 5. New groundbreaking physical world. The environment is full of physical objects and has been interacting in real time (environmental objects or players). Physical computing has become more common as computer technology advances, but the use of such large-scale physical collisions is unprecedented. This requires a lot of optimization while exploring the VR game production, and the gameplay. The game is trying to maintain a large number of physical objects while ensuring the playability.
  • 6. Some of the above are still being improved, and now as the PC's screenshot is really nothing interesting to see, you have to personally experience! So now there is no way to make a good promotional video.I hope you are willing to try CUBE-C! Thank you!

Easy Game Walkthrough of VRCubeWorld

CUBE-C include 3 mini-games:

  • VR Cube World
  • 720° Racing
  • Pile Up VR

VR Cube World

This is a very relaxing game, without any difficulty (you may need to be familiar with VR controls) and you can destroy almost everything you can see!
You will be completely immersed in this game, and you can experience to interact with all environmental objects!!
The purpose of designing such a game is to make a VR game that is for all ages and free from dizziness. Many people say that this game can "release stress", you can try is there has such an effect : ).

Game update progress notice

CUBE-C is making a tutorial level now, please look forward to it!

The Gameplay is simple:

Grab the Cube in front of you and throw it to smash something else!
Throwing it with a little force, so what you hit will become a bunch of Cubes!
Your goal is to accumulate more Cubes to upgrade, things that can be eliminated will gradually increase after the upgrade...
CUBE-C v0.0.7 New Help File!

Advanced play:
Throw the Cube or Fireball out and aim the smaller targets in the distance to get the Stars.
Getting the Stars will became more difficult, access is not much, you can see how much you can get.
Now the way to get rewards has not been determined, the plan is the highest score of networking comparison, I hope you can give me comment on this.

Three different weapons are currently available at the beginning of the game, including: Cube, Fireball and Light Saber! !
But at the end of the Early Access weapons will not be appear so easy.

CUBE-C's Future Improvement Plan

  • 1. Improve the VR Cube World‘s optimization and gameplay. Now because of the dynamic items are too much and the game mechanism to go higher level will cause stutter, so I did not open the whole map now, the problem will be solved before the end of Early Access;
  • 2. Complete the 3 mini games.
  • 720-degree car has basically completed, but some new features also need further improvements, such as car floating. In addition, due to limited technical capacity, I can not let the car drift, hoping to further achieve;
  • Pile Up VR have a lot of things need to finish, but with the final completion of the VR Cube World, I believe some of the problems that exist now can be easily solved.
  • 3. Complete the Steam Achievements system. Achievements system planned from the beginning, but the game is not finished yet, so temporarily it is unable.
  • 4. Add more game elements, such as maps, models and more.
  • 5. Due to the limited of one man's time and energy, and too few friends who can understand and support VR game now. Especially at this year, it is so hard to stick with it. Wish I can get more support than the above plan can be finally completed!
