A mech tycoon simulator game. Mechsprofit takes place in the beginning of a mech industry revolution, where giant mechanized robots are as ubiquitous as cars nowadays. You, as a novice mech factory owner have to produce (profitable) commercial mechs in order to keep your factory running.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state contains all basic core-gameplay elements.
  • 3 Manufacturer groups, each containing several countries
  • 3 Weight classes (Light, Medium, Heavy)
  • Dynamic market
  • Staff management
  • Research Tree

However, it is still Early Access, which means:
  • Most of the assets are still in placeholder quality.
  • Unbalanced gameplay
  • Sparse audio (sound effect, background music)
  • Incompatible save version
  • Bugs

tl;dr : it might be ok for user who wants to support early access. But for potential player who wants to experience a finished gameplay, it is suggested to wait until the game reached version 0.9.x”

Update #049 : Build 0.5.49


  • Improved metadata for current 89 mech component placeholder objects
    • LOD: Level Of Detail (each component has 2 extra LODs) -> This will reduce performance cost when there are many visible mechas on the screen
    • Collision Data: Continuation from Update 0.5.27.-> Randomized attachment will now attach itself closer to the surface of the parent component. Component selection in assembly now behaves correctly
    • BoundingBox: Camera auto center + zoom is now more precise
    • Not all improvements have immediately noticeable benefit in the current build (i.e: LOD). The main objective from these improvements are streamlined component generation workflow which will aid in a faster transition from placeholder to the final version
  • Preliminary implementation of attachment reprojection when it's parent component changes. (WIP)
  • Numerous other minor improvements (Attachment installation sound effect, Improved assembly center camera logic, code refactorings, etc)
  • Fixed [context pop-up panel] not updating when randomizing Component/ Material/ Attachment
  • Iterated save version to v31
  • Updated UE4 Minor version from 4.22 to 4.22.1

Update #048 : Build 0.5.48


  • Attachment can now be selected in assembly mode
  • Improved assembly control
    • LMB to select a component/attachment
    • Double click LMB to focus on component/attachment
    • RMB to focus on mech / zoom out
  • Camera now moves with transition instead of instant
  • Implemented new button to remove all installed attachment on a component
  • Changed internal assembly camera type from standard to cinematic; this allows better customization and a more realistic Depth of Field (WIP)
  • Fixed incorrect initial camera height when entering/unlocking a platform
  • Fixed internal platform orientation not facing the right direction
  • Various other minor fixes, improvements, refactorings

There is a limit on how much energy one human body can exert. To output more, we need a better mechanism.
Starting with horses, then replaced by cars; Now the inevitable Mech Era has finally come into our lives.

In Mechsprofit, you begin small as a new factory owner. Assemble Mech(s) and market it while managing your workforce; profit is a must in order to improve your factory.
Don't let this simple rule fools you though, only a true MECHpreneur can achieve MECHSimum PROFIT!

  • Numerous Mechs Combinations!

  • Determine your Production Cost (Material Cost, Workforce Cost, Advertising Cost, Research Cost) and MSRP in order to gain Profit! (and not Loss!)
  • Compete in the in-game dynamic market (a randomly generated in-game world event affects the supply and demand of each Mech Category).
