1802年，商船奥伯拉丁号满载200多吨贸易货物，从伦敦出发驶往东方。六个月后，奥伯拉丁号没有抵达位于好望角的汇合点，宣布在海上失踪。

1807年10月14日早上，奥伯拉丁号拖着残破的船帆漂流至法尔茅斯港口，船员不见踪影。一名保险调查员立即被东印度公司伦敦办事处派往法尔茅斯，设法登船并评估损失。

Return of the Obra Dinn（奥伯拉丁的归来）是一款充满神秘色彩的第一人称解谜游戏，游戏的进行方式基于探索与逻辑推理。
