“Some of you have been following the development of Collapsus for a while now, and may have even picked up our Early Access on other platforms. We’re finally to the point where we feel that there is enough content in the game to bring it to Steam, however, we have a lot of planned content. So, instead of having to make you wait (and we know some of you have been waiting for quite a long time) we’re finally ready to bring the Collapsus Early Access so folks here can join us on the final leg of our development journey!”

“We’re going to be up front with all of you. We simply don’t know how long Collapsus will be in its Early Access form. As many players may already know, it’s been in Early Access on other platforms for a while now as we’ve chugged along. In fact, it’s been a bit of a running joke with fans to ask us at conventions when the game’s coming out just to get our reactions to the question.

That said, we finally believe it's nearing the finish line after all this time!

We understand that that’s not for everyone and we won’t get upset if you decide to wait until full release. For those of you who decide they do want to pick it up here on Steam, we can assure you that we will always try our best to make meaningful updates as frequently as we can until the game is finally out for everyone to enjoy!”

“Except for the occasional bug that pops up during playtesting, Quick Play/Endless Mode (the game’s standard mode) is effectively done. There may be a couple tweaks here and there, but we don’t anticipate anything major for Endless Mode.

Extras, Tutorial, the current Challenge/Plus Modes, Puzzle Mode/Maker, and Options are a little rougher, but should all be finalized very soon.

All in all, the game is about ??% complete.”

“We do not have any plans to change price when we enter full release.”

“We fully take community feedback into consideration when making Collapsus. Collapsus is a love letter to the puzzle game community and the fans that have kept our studio going through development.

That said, some things are pretty locked in this late into development. Don’t expect sweeping changes to Endless Mode, for instance. This includes feedback such as “make it more like Bejeweled/Candy Crush” or “make it more like Tetris”.

We also get a lot of feature requests that are either already planned or are actually already in the game (gravity direction arrows that are found in the Options menu, as an example).”
