Why Early Access?

“We strongly believe that it takes a community to raise dragons together.

The world of Beast Pets is a living, evolving place where our dragons live and play. We’re still in the early days of figuring out what it means to have pet dragons become part of our daily lives, which is why we’re releasing Beast Pets in Early Access.

Today, the baby dragons are about the size of house cats and enjoy chasing after their favorite toys or other dragon playmates. Our vision, however, is to create a world where beasts and their humans can learn and grow together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to release a full version in Q4 of 2020. In the meantime, we will continue to release updates.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We envision the “full version” as a world where dragons and their humans can live and play together.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We’ve developed most of the basic components and are now working on adding more activities and structure to make long-term progression and repeat play more rewarding.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“It’s our first time raising dragons too, so we don’t know yet if they’ll ever become housebroken or if they’ll just break your house. This will be a community effort, and that’s why we’re launching in Early Access first so we can figure it out together!
