Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« What we have here is the smallest complete version of the game. It has all the basic features we wanted it to have and everything seems to work.
We did multiple public playtests recently and people seemed to like the game and wanted to have it as it is, so we feel it's ready in this sense.
But there is still much to do before we are satisfied with it. We want to work on balancing the gameplay, adding modes, play options, cleaning the interface, and generally shifting the stuff around. We also want to hear what you would like us to add or remove.

Also, the game depends on physics and networking, both of which are quite hard to get to work properly, and pretty much impossible to make perfect, but we would like to keep improving as much possible. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We are aiming to be releasing in full before the end of the year. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« 

• Currently the game has only a PvP or a PvE mode. We want to add a basic AI so the originally PvP arenas can be played solo.
  
• After the AI is added, we also have a short and cheesy western story that should take about 1-2 hours to complete.
  
• Currently to play against a friend you have to join the same room. We would like to use the Steam friend system to make this simpler.
  
• We want to add additional Steam features like cards and achievements.
  
• After full release we would like to keep adding challenges for you to play through.

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« Duel VR was playtested many times at public events and we are pretty sure it runs stable and that it is fun to play. There may be some glitches we have not discovered yet, some machines you guys own might surprise us so we cannot guarantee it works in the same quality everywhere.
The game at the moment includes:

• 4 different weapons to use
  
• 4 Player vs. Environment arenas to fight for highscores and train your skills.
  
• 4 Player vs. Player arenas for LAN and Online battles.

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« We want to keep the price accessible so that we also have a big enough community of players, but we aim to increase the price slowly as we add new features so that the price always reflects what we feel the game is worth at the moment. We feel that the game is currently worth the price we're offering it for and we want to keep this true the whole way. However we don't expect it to rise by more than 50%. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« We would like to hear suggestions both for improvements of the existing gameplay and for what you would like to see in the game in the future.

Also, due to having physics and networking, the game is bound to have glitches. We would be very happy to get feedback on parts that mostly seem problematic to you. »
