Miksi Early Access?

After running a semi-open beta for quite some time now, we've come to the stage where we need more player feedback: Boreal Blade has several different game modes like Team Deathmatch, Boreal Battle and Boreal Claim, and by doing Early Access we're hoping to get more input on what players find most enjoyable and fun. So we're doing Early Access to figure out exactly what we need to focus on with development, along with polish and bug fixing.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We expect to be in Early Access around one year, however this may change depending on player feedback and the scope and number of new features added.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full release version will be more polished, with all major bugs and issues fixed. We have a good set of gameplay modes, maps and unlocks available at Early Access release, but depending on how the Early Access evolves, we may add new features and more of everything for the full release too.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current Early Access version is fully playable in online multiplayer, with all game modes, unlocks, progression and stats. There will be some bugs present, but nothing serious.

The game has four playable game modes (Duel, Team Deathmatch, Boreal Battle and Boreal Claim), 11 different maps, as well as hundreds of weapons, shields, pieces of armour and battle items.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We may increase the price during Early Access and upon full release, but will announce these well in advance.

Our community will be closely involved with the development, as we hope to hear as much feedback as possible here on the Steam community forums, as well as on our Discord server.
