„Arcane Mapper will be in early access until the editing tools are complete - supporting outdoor environments, cities, towns with buildings as well as dungeons and until it supports Virtual/Digital Tabletop features. So I expect the product to stay in early access for approximately 6 months.

However you can start creating maps and making use of the program right away, it already supports export, rendering, Steam Workshop and many other features.”

„The full version will have a polished, easy to use but powerful map editing functionality with many cool features - lighting, shadows, fog, procedural grime, procedural liquids, seamless indoor to outdoor transitions, jagged cave walls, curved walls and much more.

The full version will also support option Digital/Virtual Tabletop features - play RPG games with your friends with advanced real-time lighting, high quality fog of war and visibility, layered maps so it is easy to go between levels and more.”

Care este starea actuală a versiunii aflate în acces timpuriu?

„The Early Access version features robust encounter level dungeon map creation with the ability to export, print and render out maps for use in Physical or Virtual Tabletop RPG games such as D&D, Gurps and Pathfinder.

Arcane Mapper also supports Steam Workshop on release in addition to built-in web search tools to make finding free assets for your maps as easy as possible. It also supports exporting and importing packages - to make sharing maps and assets easy even outside of Steam.”

„The price will most likely not change when leaving Early Access.”
