“We believe that with Westard the feedback from the players is vital in order to develop Westard into the game that VR players will enjoy and get the most of it.”

“The 1.0 version of Westard is arriving early 2026”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The Early Access version will be very rough on the edges and mostly lack content and play modes compared to final product.

During the Early Access more solo & co-op missions, new Heist PvP Mode and more weapons will be added as well as gameplay improvements. During early access the game is going through major content changes and most of the early access content will change and improve during the development.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Westard is going through rework and improvement phase right now. Current playable main version will be updated to new reworked Westard version during 2025

About the current playable version:
The core mechanics are up and running. The amount of single-player & Co-Op missions will vary from the final product and also the Early Access version will include one pvp mode. At the first the main focus will be on creating single-player and co-op content. Some hiccups in multiplayer mode are expected in the first stages of Early Access.”

“The price will be lower during the Early Access phase as it is still not a ready product and missing some content.”

Get ready to heist banks and rob trains solo or in co-op with friends! Take it to the western streets to decide who controls the town in pvp multiplayer modes.

Key Features

Sneak into a bank and pick a lock or blow up the entire vault wall to pieces! Take friends with you or do it solo, but prepare to fight waves of guards in single-player and multiplayer co-op missions.
Take the fight to the western town streets in multiplayer PvP modes:

Robbery: Collect money by taking down other players and stealing loot from banks!
Classic deathmatch

Manual weapon handling and loading

You only have five bullets in your Single-Action Revolver before needing to take cover and load! And remember to draw the hammer to fully cocked position!

Locomotion

Touchpad movement
Comfort mode: Touchpad movement, but you control your "ghost" in 3rd person before teleporting to its location

Players engage in gunfights with sheriffs, rival bandits, and military forces. These encounters include shootings, blood splatter, and fatal injuries.

Characters in the game may use alcohol often to excess, in saloons or social settings. These substances are depicted as part of the game's immersive environment but do not provide mechanical advantages.
