Sky Is Arrows is a real-time tactical roguelike where every second counts. Control a powerful hero, command five unique army groups, and adapt to a battlefield that changes as quickly as you can think. The deeper you go, the stronger your enemies become—and the more decisive your choices must be.

The Final Boss returns every five Acts. You cannot stop him. Only delay him. How far will you get before the world crushes you?

Fast Fights, Deep Strategy

In battle, your units automatically advance and engage—but that doesn’t mean your job is easy. You’ll reposition armies, cast high-impact spells, and make snap judgments about when to protect your hero or push for victory.

• Build a squad of five armies with over 40 unique units

• Have your armies cover your hero’s weaknesses—and let your hero cover theirs

• Leverage terrain, counter unit types, and time your abilities for maximum effect

• Choose from four distinct army factions:

  • Regiment: The human faction led by Sir Roland, known for discipline and defense

  • Wyrm: Servants of Aldruin, the dragonkin faction wielding fire, poison, and brute force

  • Curator: The mystical elven faction, aligned with the forces of nature herself

Each battle is short—10 seconds to 2 minutes—but packed with tactical decisions. The rhythm is fast, but never shallow. A full game may last 5 minutes - 30 minutes depending on the player's skill.

Tactical Drafting and Item Chaos

While exploring the map, you’ll discover chests containing 1 to 3 randomized items—then choose one. Most items can be stacked up to 30 times, while others are unique or exclusive to specific maps and DLCs. There are 73 items in total:

• 41 Core items

• 6 Dragon Bracer items

• 20 Celestial Bow items

• 6 Ebonhare Visage items

The longer you spend choosing, the harder the game gets. Every second matters—even between battles.

No Two Runs Are the Same

Each Act brings new terrain, enemy combinations, and unpredictable modifiers. You’ll explore haunted graveyards, storm-wracked battlegrounds, corrupted shrines, and other ever-changing environments. Battles escalate. Tension rises. Heroes fall.

Survive long enough, and you’ll encounter the Final Boss. Defeat him… and keep going. He will return. The game never truly ends.

Choose your hero carefully. Each one alters your entire approach to combat.

• The Templar breaks through enemy lines with holy strength

• The Marauder, Gargoyle, Hunter, Lizardman, and Archer each bring their own mechanics and synergy trees
